Neurodivergence comes in many forms—autism, ADHD, dyslexia, tics, dyspraxia, and more. While every experience is unique, there are often shared traits, such as sensory sensitivities, richly active or less visual inner worlds, and differences in how we feel and connect with our bodies and emotions. Many also face common challenges in navigating the world, including shame, burnout, and difficulties with sleep.
In our mindfulness sessions, you're invited to show up just as you are. You can choose to share or simply listen—there's no pressure either way. Our sessions are intentionally adapted for the many ways neurodivergent minds work, with flexibility and choice built in. There’s no expectation to sit still, stay quiet, or keep your camera on. Instead, we co-create a space that honours neurodivergent ways of being, while gently weaving mindfulness into our lives in a supportive, affirming way.
Mindfulness, when adapted with care and flexibility, can offer a range of benefits for neurodivergent individuals:
🌱 Greater self-awareness – noticing thoughts, feelings, and sensory experiences with curiosity rather than judgment
🌬️ Emotional regulation – creating space to respond rather than react, especially during overwhelm or emotional intensity
🛑 Reduction in stress and burnout – supporting nervous system regulation and rest
🌈 Increased self-compassion – building a kinder relationship with yourself and your unique way of being
🧠 Improved focus and clarity – gently training attention in a way that works for you
💡 Support for executive functioning – offering grounding tools to pause, reset, and make choices more consciously
🤝 Sense of belonging – connecting with others in a space that honours neurodivergent experiences
🎧 Sensory awareness – tuning in to the body and environment in a way that feels safe and empowering
