Dr. Jamie Brown is a medical doctor and a BAMBA-accredited mindfulness teacher
With over 25 years of personal mindfulness practice and a professional career spanning the NHS and clinical research, I have spent my life exploring the intersection of the mind and well-being.
Throughout my clinical work, I noticed a recurring gap: many neurodivergent individuals—those with ADHD, Autism, or simply "busy" minds—were seeking the benefits of mindfulness but found traditional methods inaccessible, rigid, or even alienating.
I created Aurum to bridge that gap.
A Research-Led, Person-Centered Approach
My work is grounded in the belief that mindfulness shouldn't require you to change how your brain works. Instead, the practice should change to fit you. I combine:
Clinical Science: Leveraging my background as a Doctor and Researcher to ensure every practice is evidence-based and trauma-sensitive.
Lived Understanding: Moving away from "one-size-fits-all" toward neuro-affirming, practical tools.
25 Years of Practice: Bringing a deep, seasoned perspective to the nuances of meditation and movement.
Curiosity: I aim to bring a warm welcome, curiosity, fun and non-judgment to my classes. As a teacher I hold the space for exploration and discovery.
My Mission
I aim to offer a space where your neurodivergence isn't something to be "quieted," but explored and celebrated. I bring a warm welcome, curiosity, and a sense of fun to my classes. As a teacher, my role is to hold a safe space for your own exploration and discovery.
